Professor Christel R Devadawson provided the audience with a charismatic speech about her views on curriculum design and how university disturbs people into thinking differently. She gave her outlook of “Intrapersonal knowledge” as the world lies inside us and not outside. Professor Devadawson is a Professor, Department of English at the Delhi University, where she has been actively involved in her field of expertise from 1986 - Present. Her areas of interest encompass - Nineteenth century representations of India, South Asian and life writing in English, Popular culture in India in the twentieth century and after, and Golden Age detective fiction. Professor Devadawson has significantly contributed to the academic community through her extensive research and numerous publications. She holds her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, M.Phil. from Department of English, Delhi University and completed her PhD. from the University of Cambridge.
